Course Details

Learn the art of Yang Sheng 養生, the practice of nourishing and cultivating life, through traditional Wudang Qigong. Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Yang Sheng is a proactive system of self-care aimed at enhancing vitality, supporting longevity, and preventing illness by harmonising the body, mind, and spirit with the natural rhythms of life.
This course is designed for beginners as well as health practitioners who wish to experience the depth and wide range of health benefits that authentic Qigong practice offers.
Dr Rachel Woo (24th-generation Dragon Gate Sect) is a student of Li Shifu, abbott of the Five Immortals Temple in Wudang, and has over 15 years of clinical experience in TCM. In this two-morning immersion, Dr Woo will guide you through two sets of Qigong practices. Through mindful movement, breath, and stillness, these practices aim to restore inner balance and foster a deep sense of wellbeing.
Morning Qigong: A sequence of 5 flowing movements coordinated with breathwork to build your inner reservoir of Qi and support long-term physical health.
Rhythmic Detox: A dynamic, rhythmic practice that activates 20 key points on the body to stimulate circulation, release stagnation, and strengthen immunity.
Course fee: $80
